Choice race

In keeping with the reduced number of races this year, you will only need to complete 3 races with 2 being triathlons and one being a duathlon, aquathon or aquabike.

One choice race a year to count towards the final points, providing this is a BTF ratified event or a recognised race organiser i.e. Ironman or Challenge

It is the responsibility of the club member to forward their finishing time and the relevant male or female winning time to the league email address, this must be provided before the end of December each year.

Trophies are given in the following categories

1st - 3rd Male and Female Open

1st - 3rd Male and Female Vet

1st - 3rd Male and Female Super Vet

1st - 3rd Male and Female Vet 60+

The member is only eligible for one prize so if they are the 1st Vet who is 3rd overall they will be awarded the 3rd place trophy and the award for 1st Vet will go to the 2nd place Vet.

The Club Championship is open to all senior and Youth members of the club, however: -

The participants must be a fully paid up Senior member of Black Country Triathletes (BCT)

The participant must enter the race under BCT and race in club kit or GB kit. For new members unable to purchase club kit dispensation on this rule will be given until the shop opens and they are able to purchase club kit.

Any queries come and see me on registration at the sprint in June or whilst I gasp for breath on the finishing line as I realise how woefully undertrained and unfit I am.

Race Safe and Smile
