Much Wenlock Olympic Games Triathlon 2018

Take a 500m swim, a rapid decent and a couple of tough climbs on the bike, throw in a 7k run with a couple of wicked hills, ramp up the temperature to 30 C. and you've got this year’s Wenlock Olympic Games triathlon.

This is an event that Chris Pedley and Paul Rogers have contested 15 times in the last twenty years and it doesn't seem to get any easier.

On a day when fancied performers where suffering in the hot conditions BCT's top Supervet Paul Rogers cruised round in a class performance to win an Wenlock games age group gold medal and an impressive 1st place overall.

Chris weighed in with a well earned silver medal in the 60+ category to keep the BCT flag flying and taking their joint medal total to 30 for these games .

Paul Rogers 1st SV50 and race winner  1.14

Chris Pedley 2nd SV60.  1.34
